MARK STRICKLIN,
an accomplished and skilled vocalist, saxophonist and
electric bassist, has been engaged in professional
perfomance, songwriting and musical composition for
nearly four decades.
While attending Texas Wesleyan College in Fort Worth on a vocal scholarship,  Mark performed with school friends in a folksinging group and also as a paid singer and soloist in the choir of a major Fort Worth Church.

Since that time,  Mark has performed as bassman/sax player/vocalist with artists such as Bruce Channel, Chuck Berry, Delbert McClinton, Red Steagall, Glen Clark, Greasy Joe and he Roadhogs, plus logging 12 years with popular Texas party band Larry and the Bluenotes.

Mark Stricklin is a polished songwriter and composer, crafting words and music with creativity and skilled attention to detail in both lyrical and harmonic phrasing.

Currently resident on Galveston Island, Texas, Mark performs regularly in Galveston/Houston area blues, jazz and rock venues.
